2022 Annual Meeting and Conference
Our 2022 conference was held virtually via zoom. Nonetheless, we had a great turnout and thorough discussion about media and public perspectives on flooding.
The RI Emergency Management Agency along with the RI Flood Mitigation Association, FEMA Region 1 and ASFPM offered the
"Managing Floodplain Development Through the NFIP" course on February 5—9, 2018 at the University of Rhode Island Bay Campus in Narragansett, RI
The course is designed to provide a training opportunity for local officials responsible for administering their local floodplain management ordinance. Participants that are Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) received 12 CECs for attending this 4-day course.

2017 Annual Conference
The 2017 conference was again met with downpours and flood warnings throughout the day. That didn't stop over 158 people from engaging in topics centered around "Building Resilience... Naturally". Another great success at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, RI.
2016 Annual Conference
The 2016 conference was attended in record numbers! Despite torrential downpours, over 135 attendees from five states and a variety of professions joined us at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, RI for a day dedicated to “Incentivizing Actionable Resilience to Flooding”.
